Intelio Credit Card Processing
Overview
In order to maximize the number or washes and, in turn, maximize profits, car wash operators should offer credit/debit card acceptance as a form of payment. To process credit cards on the Intelio network, car wash operators must have a payments gateway and a merchant processing account.
Payments Gateway:
A payments gateway provides a link between the Intelio software and the merchant processing account. The gateway serves as an “interpreter” between the two systems. Intelio has chosen Authorize.Net as its payments gateway provider and, as such, each car wash location must establish an account with Authorize.Net. Although some credit card processors are able to establish Authorize.Net accounts, we recommend using Total Payment Solutions, Inc. for this service. When using Total Payment Solutions for your Authorize.Net connection, you are insuring that the payments gateway account is built correctly, you receive step-by-step assistance with the account activation process, and Intelio is better able to resolve any processing issues that might occur with the gateway. Merchant Processing Account:
A merchant processing account provides the car wash operation with the ability to transact credit card and debit card payments at the wash. With Intelio Technologies, car wash operators may choose to use their own merchant services provider or use our preferred merchant services vendor- Total Merchant Services.
